The need is great, there are hundreds of thousands of people in the UK right now who are in need of housing. With your help we can help bring and end to homelessness in our nation.Green Pastures and our partners cannot function without the generous gifts of time from volunteers up and down the country. That is a simple operational fact. At Green Pastures we believe it is very important to understand that the work of a volunteer is not free. It is a gift that incurs costs to the giver and therefore should not be considered simply, “free work.” We believe that, like any act of generosity, it is built upon mutual beliefs, mutual aims and mutual love. That is why we aim to facilitate those who wish to give their time through the provision on resources, training, networks and encouragement.
